Tenerife Lights Out

Tenerife has just experienced an island wide black out. A fault which occured around 1:00 in the afternoon left the entire island with no electricity. The Emergency Services initially received a high volume of calls regarding incidents with elevators and garage doors. Reports came in from all parts of the island confirming the outage. Various reports state that the outage will last at least 6 hours, with some estimates prudently advising to expect power back on Monday morning following an incident at the islands main power plant. Electricity appears to have been restored now and the day is continuing as normal. Both the San Isidro and Las Américas Teneweedfe locations are open, so if you're looking for something to do - drop by - we don't need electricity to have fun 😉
